Hello. Thanks for another great video. I wanted to clarify, did you use Very High preset in Ghost of Thsushima or manually set settings to Ultra in benchmarks?

I updated my Adrenaline to previous version 24.4.? and seeing still same message RSR is disabled (when going my 1080p game from window mode to full screen of my 1440p monitor. It seems AMD has disabled this feature, or something else is Out there, 😅). I hope newest drivers work for your guys in Cost of Sushima game and other. (i3-10100f and RX6650XT, as some say wrongly its incompatible combo, xd).

the last few drivers are not so great coz of black screens forcing a manual reboot i'm actually using a older driver because of it

Max Payne 1 & 2-- Man, I haven't seen these two games being mentioned anywhere in a VERY LONG time. Apart from the recent passing of James McCaffrey back in December. It surprised me to see these two games mentioned at all, now in 2024.

Constant crashes on the newest driver on my 7800XT. Reverted to the previous version and fixed it for me. There are people complaining about it on Steam forum as well.

I want to point out an issue i've been facing with some games, the issue seems to be in every driver sincer 23.12.1. Playing while having rivatuner stats in games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Forza Horizon 4 the memory frequency suddenly shows 0 mhz. While in Forza Horizon there is no performance impact (old game, maxing out my 165hz monitor) in Red Dead Redemption 2 there is a drop of around 20 fps after this happens. For now the only fix i found was to change the refresh rate to 120hz, it still happens when using 144hz. It's not only in rivatuner because Radeon Software also reports 0mhz. Also, changing the refresh rate to 144hz and back to 165 seems to fix it temporarly but it comes back after some time in the games mentioned. Card is RX 6700 XT

These latest AMD drivers caused my 6900XT to run like crap I was getting Micro-stutters in every game after updating them, including Ghost of Tsushima. I probably should have run DDU and done a clean install instead. What I did was just replace the card with a 4090 that I've been sitting on for far too long 🤣 Hoping the faulty power connecter does not melt on it fingers crossed!🤞 Also Ghost of Tsushima is not too well optimized there are bugs and glitches. There's no reason my 6900XT paired with a 5900X & 64GB RAM should not be getting an easy 4K 60+FPS on what is originally a PS4 game. Game would crash immediately if I tried to use FSR3 frame-gen on the AMD GPU as well. On the Nvidia GPU it would get an instant black screen upon trying to start the game which did not happen on the AMD GPU. The culprit turned out to be the default enabled Exclusive Full-Screen mode, changing it to regular Full Screen or windowed mode fixed that particular issue. Only found the solution because I did a YT search and other people had been experiencing the same issue.

Has anybody used 8700G in Deep Rock Galactic lately? If yes, please send me how this APU performs under that game. I appreciate any help you can provide. :) Nice work, this video is so helpful! Thanks :)

Ghost of tsushima crashes for me despite running 100+ fps consistently giving me an error message that my display drivers crashed

The newest drivers just make my game crash on Ghost of Tsushima. I went back to the previous drivers, and the game works fine.

i m am using the pro edtion blue driver 24.Q1.1 best driver cos i dont like red adrenalin drivers full of shatters n laggy tho while blue pro one isstable one so guys get pro edtion over red driver

Having a 7900x with a 7900xt, 32 gb ram. During the last couple of drivers, having two monitor setup, the primary would go to standby in use, gaming or otherwise and only by disconnecting the DP lead and reconnecting would it reactivate, yes I did DDU when it happened, but it did not solve it. Hasn't happened on these drivers YET.

Hey Fabio, I'm not sure if anyone is aware of this, but since version 24.4.1, my RX 6700XT has been experiencing extremely high VRAM usage, high temperatures, and stuttering in every game. The VRAM issue is the worst, with 3-4GB VRAM usage on desktop idle!!! Reverting back to version 24.3.1 instantly resolves this issue. However, with Version 24.5.1, the problem persists, and I am not the only one facing this issue. My girlfriend also has the same GPU, and after asking a few people on Reddit, they too encounter the same problem.

im getting a crash with an error "A problem has occurred with your display driver. This can be caused by out of date drivers, using game settings higher than your GPU can handle, an overheating GPU, or an error with the game. Please try updating your graphics drivers, or lowering your in-game settings." my graphics card is a radeon rx 6800xt and I've seen multiple other reports of people having the same crash. Any help?

ghost of tsushima pc freezing after playing 2 hours with rx 6600 xt amd adrenaline 24.5.1. 😑

World of Warcraft has been terrible since October while raiding on DX12. I was crashing 2-3 times in every 2-3 hour raid until 30th April when Cataclysm prepatch was released and Blizzard completely screwed everything, so if there are any WoW players in the chat at the moment in World of Warcraft Classic DX11 is not only not crashing but also gives 40-70% more performance, I tested it with Intel 13700h + Nvidia 4060 Laptop and PC with 7800x3d+7900xt as well. I had some guildies that I shared this info with and some of them after they changed to DX11 they stopped having a stutter fest while raiding. I also have an outdated spare system with RX480 8GB and ryzen 4100 system where DX12 was working better, so I am suspecting Blizzard sh!t the bed and swapped DX11 and DX12 by mistake or something like that since April 30th, cuz none of the systems available at home make any sense and multiple people that tried changing DX had similar results. P.S. Fabio is right - WoW is very good at picking up RAM and CPU instabilities and also bad bottlenecks, easiest way to work around bottlenecks or just not enough cpu/ram performance is to set all settings to minimum while playing in a more competitive environment like raids/battlegrounds/arenas/dungeons and etc. P.S. #2 Next expansion in Classic WoW launches after 2 days, I will test DX12 and 11 to see if Blizzard fixed the problems and ofc I'm happy to see AMD are working in that direction as well.

Fallout may not launch is a deal breaker for me. I guess I will wait

7900 XT here, have you experienced any issues with FSR 3 FrameGen? My game just freezes if this is enabled.

Before anyone jump in and download newer driver, make you keep a older version first. It may or may not work. I had stutter issue after installing it. Turns off Amd smart access memory works but still not good enough. It only works some but not everyone.

Fortnite and Radeon continually has issues. I had to roll back the driver, debloat and install driver only to get rid of latency and framerate jumping. On the lowest settings possible in fortnite on RX 6700XT with 5600 Ryzen. Yes I know my CPU is a bottleneck but these drivers are not great! Will give the update a go but I am so tired of this!

There are still graphical glitches in Wwe 2k24 when you turn reflection on high, same happened in 2k22 and 23. Have reported several times and there are several posts in amd community forum about this but they just don't care.

The 24.3.1 drivers were extremely good for the 6000 series. Would you say these are better or stick with 24.3.1

Hey, I feel you should make a video about the Lossless Scaling apps new feature LSFG 2.0. It is now better than AFMF and it runs well at 1440p at 60 fps lock with even more minimal input lag which is virtually unnoticeable unless you look for it even on a mouse keyboard, and literally unnoticeable on a controller. Doubles my fps to 120 lock and it's a nice experience. Especially if it's a third person action adventure game, it's a free win.

Apparently there is an issue with 24.5.1 where many users across the Steam forums and Reddit were suffering crashes in very specific parts of Ghost of Tsushima (myself included), and nothing but reverting back to 24.4.1 or 24.3.1 (as I did) has completely fixed it. u/AMD_Vik on the r/AMD subreddit post about the driver has been made aware of it and he said they're gonna look into it. The area of the game in particular where 24.5.1 crashed (with the DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG error) was right after the arrow dodging tutorial, on the bridge where you have a standoff before meeting Khan holding your uncle hostage..

Say my chipset drivers are 3 years old on my 3700x b450 and i want to update them. Is it safe to remove them using Revo uninstaller and then clean reinstalling them after downloading the latest chipset files? Or do i not uninstall at all and go eoth the uninstallation? My BIOS is from 2019 august. Do i need to update it?
